IoP 2022 - Joint APP/HEPP Conference

Europe/London
Rutherford Appleton Laboratory

Rutherford Appleton Laboratory

Description

From 3-6 April 2022, the Institute of Physics will be bringing together the UK High Energy Particle Physics and Astroparticle Physics communities for a joint annual conference, marking the 65th anniversary of this IOP conference. The meeting will feature invited talks from major national and international speakers, as well as extensive opportunities for contributed talks. A poster session will take place to showcase work and discoveries, and updates and discussions with senior members of the Science and Technology Facilities Council will be provided at a town meeting.

This year's meeting is organised and hosted by the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory.  Plenary sessions will be held in the Pickavance Lecture Theatre, with retransmission to the main room of the Visitors Centre where there will be overflow seating. The Hamilton Room in the Visitors Centre and CR12-13 (joined as one room) will be additionally used for the parallel sessions. Here is a site map with the rooms circled in magenta. Emergency contacts are also listed.

Further information can be found here.
