      Dear All,

LhARA IB meeting in Belfast - preamble

As part of the preparation for the Bridging Period (BP1), we are re-examining LhARA's governance in general and the Institute Board (IB) in particular, to ensure that we can present a convincing management structure for the project. In consultation with the Executive Board (EB), a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been drafted to articulate the collaboration’s aims, working practices and governance. This needs to be agreed and signed off.

Currently, it is not clear who the IB representatives are for some institutes, we need to confirm who will represent all institutes.

We must also confirm the author list for the Bridging Period proposal and LhARA publications.

Please read the draft MoU and send comments and suggested revisions to the Institute Board co-chairs Tim Greenshaw and Yolanda Prezado. The MoU will then be revised in the light of comments received. Please also consider who from your institute should be on the LhARA author list.

      Agenda — for 19:00 BST, 02Sep2024
