In early consultations with facilities, simulation and modelling capabilities, theoryenhanced experiments and the ability to support users incorporating modelling and simulation was raised as a priority. The goal of this meeting is to explore these opportunities, challenges faced by the facilities and their users with the aim of definingcollaborative opportunities with ALC.
For the meeting, we would ask you to consider priority science cases, user cases or strategic goals for integrating modelling and simulation and examples of issues or shortfalls which are hampering delivery of these goals. This is with a view to shaping and defining activities with ALC to meet these strategic aims.
The theory team will be available all day for discussion. In the morning, we would like a general discussion with CLF and we would then like to meet with group leaders and anyone from their group with an interest in developments in this area for direct discussions on potential projects
