ALC Ptychography Workshop

Europe/London
Description

Ptychography experiments are performed across Diamond, CLF and RFI and whether using optical light, electrons or X-rays, the underlying methods and approaches are largely the same.

The ALC is seeking to move from delivering isolated projects to programmes of work to help deliver wider strategic goals and maximise the science impact and output of the facilities.

The goal of this workshop is to explore the challenges faced by the facilities and their users in delivering science applications and science impact usage of coherent imaging and outline a collaborative programme with ALC.

The facilities are asked to consider and provide priority science cases, user cases or strategic goals and examples of issues or shortfalls which are hampering delivery of these goals. This is with a view to defining activities with ALC to meet these strategic aims.

The workshop seeks to:

·         Share and gather the strategic science cases, use cases, priorities, and challenges.

·         Identify critical tasks and collaborative activities with ALC.

·         Define any follow-up activities to further details the programme of work if needed.
