Cockcroft Lecture Series

The Cockcroft lectures are open to all, and are usually held (when not stated otherwise) on Mondays in the Walton Room in the Cockcroft Institute at Daresbury Laboratory (A Block). Lectures can also be viewed on-line via Zoom, meeting ID 894-626-8706 (no password required).

A text that students may find useful to accompany the course is "The Science and Technology of Particle Accelerators", by R. Appleby, G. Burt, J. Clarke and H. Owen (Taylor and Francis, 2020). This is available as a free download (open-access) from https://doi.org/10.1201/9781351007962.
