Future plans for the Boulby Underground Laboratory 30m

The Boulby Underground Laboratory is the UK’s deep underground laboratory and has been operating in one form or another since the 1990s. In recent years the lab has expanded to a dedicated clean room space but it is considered a medium sized laboratory. We are about to kickstart a journey that will hopefully lead to a rapid expansion of the underground space to accommodate future large scale rare event searches. This talk will discuss these plans along with other possible future experiments at the small/medium scale.

      Speaker: Paul Scovell (STFC,Boulby Mine,PPD)
