Policy
Intertwin: meeting a little while ago, AUP and service operations. Progressed a little, getting agreement: INFN are OK, now going to talk to WP5 about it and talk to providers in a few weeks. Looking for a replacement policy meeting soon.
EUGridPMA/etc in Abingdon, lots of policy issues discussed. [ADD DAVIDG NOTES]
DaveK working on AARC templates: talked at HEPiX. Need experiment representation in policy groups to move forward. First WISE in person meeting at NSF Cybersecurity Summit. Presented updates to AARC PDK, everyone thought it was really good. OSG/FNAL were amenable. JD volunteered to represent OSG and Trusted-CI. DPK: Do we need WISE PDK given gov standards? Discussion: yes, as most of the standards cover single organisational domains. Argument that at some stage we need SCIv3. Community policy is perhaps of use: LIGO/Australians were interested.
Also: everyone is interested in threat intelligence/IDS/Automation
Meetings: Intertwin is coming up, walk through the policies. Two kinds of policy: those that are needed now (need to talk to EGI CSIRT). Also an output of the project, part of the toolkit. Currently focused on the short term. Good to get Derek, eg, involved. Biggest challenge is communities we haven't seen before.
Identity Management (IAM + CA)
Token work: Donald working on HA. Tom working on steering work, making sure prototyping is going properly in SKA, WLCG: big commitment to get things done by DC24, but people are perhaps less confident. DC24 planning meeting next week. IanC: new release of FTS next week which completely overhauls token component.
Grand Unified Token work kicked off by Mischa.
UK eScience CA: new hardware, Rocky9, new hardware module, new isolated network, all running successfully. CA portal website also running on Rocky9. Not much in terms of service improvements. Have to have support contract for HSMs, upgraded to maintain this.
