On 13th November, the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory will host a one-day meeting to discuss noise sources relevant to the detection of fundamental physics processes such as gravitational waves using laser and atom interferometry. The meeting will discuss strategies for mitigating noise sources, with a view to the detection of potential gravitational wave sources within the mid-band range.

The intention is to bring together researchers in atom interferometry with those from the light interferometry community (LIGO/VIRGO/ET/LISA) and to encourage the flow of ideas, techniques and synergies.

There will be no registration fee for this event.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

On arrival, please report to reception, R75, to register.
