Description
For the last couple of months the Cloud has been investigating using Vault for secret storage for our kubernetes clusters and openstack as part of our upcoming migration
Out of this we have a proof of concept deployment method which could become production for the division with a little bit more work
In this talk we will outline how our deployment works, how it can be used and the potential benefits
As a bonus we will talk about how we may be able to use this for establishing secret distribution with a Vault Integrated Machine Provisioning (VIMP) process initially with cloud virtual machines but eventually with everything
