Description: The Centre for Instrumentation (CfI) forms the backbone of core technology development for STFC's Facilities and Programmes. The CfI has developed strategic technology roadmaps to shape long term managed R&D programmes in areas such as CMOS sensors, Cryogenics and Advanced Optics. I’ll introduce some of the current long- and short-term projects, discuss the application process, and explain how PPD can get involved and get resources for both one-year and three-year R&D projects.
