Invited theorists and experimentalists will explain the hands-on reality of designing and running detectors and accelerators, computing, machine learning, Monte-Carlo and simulation, trigger and data acquisition, and practical statistics. Several of these topics are complemented by tutorials. This course is aimed at 1st year PhD students. Due to Covid this will be a remote event again this year.
