Description
The BESIII experiment in Beijing, China has the largest sample of quantum-correlated decays of the Psi(3770) meson. These can be used for measuring strong phase parameters in charm decays. In this talk I will explain the importance of these seemingly obscure parameters and how they provide essential inputs to other measurements in the search for beyond the Standard Model phenomena in other areas of flavour physics. I will discuss the first multi body charm strong-phase measurements to be measured at BESIII. I will also discuss their use and other developments that led to the most precise measurement of gamma, made by the LHCb experiment in July this year.
