DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Prof Jibo He (UCAS\, China)\n\nAfter a brief introdu
ction to the LHCb experiment and its upgrade\, I will focus on systematic
studies of the doubly charmed baryons\, including the observation of the X
icc+ baryon in 2026\, which is the first new particle observed with the up
graded LHCb detector.\n \nBiography of the speaker\nJibo HE is a tenured
professor at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). He obtained
his PhD degree from Tsinghua University (Beijing)\, before moving to LAL
(Orsay) as a post-doc from 2008 to 2012. Then he moved to CERN as an appli
ed Fellow working on the upgrade of the LHCb Cherenkov detector from 2013
to 2015. After that he became a professor of physics at UCAS. He has held
various roles within the LHCb collaboration\, including the LHCb Stripping
(central pre-selection) coordinator\, a convener of the b-hadrons and Qua
