Laser-focused on radiotherapy will be a lecture in the STFC Rutehrford Lecture series focused on the opportunities laser-driven proton and ion beams have to advance biomedical science and the potentiall to deliver new capabilities in proton and ion beam= therapy.
The Rutherford Lecture will take place in the Pickavance Lecture Theatre between 14:00 and 15:00 BST.
The lecture will be ollowed by an extended "seminar style" review and discission of the development of the LhARA intiative.
