Green Ammonia, the Keystone for a Bridge to Net Zero

Description

The talk will start with some background information about ammonia including how it is made, the need to decarbonise current ammonia production but also emerging new uses for green ammonia as a carbon free fuel. Project ASPIRE, the UK's flexible green ammonia synthesis plant based here at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory will be presented and the talk will be concluded with some thoughts on the future for green ammonia.
