This seminar will provide an overview of the Computational Biology theme within the Scientific Computing Department, showcasing their expertise and the projects conducted with the STFC large-scale facilities in areas such as processing of experimental datasets, biomolecular modelling and simulation, and applications of machine learning. Techniques covered include cryo-EM, electron diffraction, macromolecular crystallography, reflectometry, and tomography. The seminar will also discuss opportunities for future developments.
